THE OPPORTUNITY:
We currently have opportunities for field operators working in our Heavy Oil area which would require residency in the Bonnyville, Elk Point, Vermillion, Lloydminster or Cold Lake area while on shift.
HOW WILL YOU MAKE YOUR MARK?
• Work a 10 hour shift rotation, 8 days on and 6 days off
• Start up and shut down of all well site equipment without supervision while ensuring you follow company safety policies and procedures • Analyze production and cost data and make appropriate decisions or recommendations for optimization • Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform minor repairs and servicing • Monitor and implement cost reduction ideas • Maintain all regulatory safety certifications • Foster a positive and productive work atmosphere
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Typically 3+ years of industry experience with Grade 12 or GED and a class 5 driver’s license • Highly motivated, self managed and have the ability to take on new tasks or assignments and get things done right the first time • Working knowledge of safety policies and goals
